Scottish chapter - Our Lady of Aberdeen - Itinerary

Friday 17th May

3pm Chapter Mass in Paris

6.30 pm Chapter dinner in Paris

Saturday 18th May - Vigil of Pentecost

6.30am - 6.45 am Pilgrims meet outside St Sulpice to register and load big bags onto lorries.

7am Pilgrimage begins with 7 am Mass at Saint Sulpice.

8.30am Walking pilgrimage from Paris to Chartres begins.

Evening Pilgrims sleep in large communal tents which are provided - personal tents are not permitted.

Sunday 19th May - Pentecost

6am Pilgrimage continues.

2pm Mass at an outdoor location.

Evening Pilgrims sleep in large communal tents which are provided.

Monday 20th May - Monday in the Octave of Pentecost

6am Pilgrimage continues.

3pm Pilgrimage finishes with Mass in Chartres Cathedral, celebrated by Cardinal Gerhard Muller.

5pm Pilgrims have the option to return to Paris (see below regarding train tickets) or to stay in Chartres.

7.30pm If you choose to stay the Scottish chapter meets for a meal in a restaurant in Chartres.

Evening Pilgrims sleep in hotel in Chartres.

Tuesday 21th May - Tuesday in the Octave of Pentecost

Early morning Low Mass in the crypt of Chartres Cathedral.

Pilgrims return to Paris/airport and home.

Train tickets can be purchased at Chartres station on the day and cost between 15 and 35 euros.
